LINDSEY MILAZZO| fine art & illustration
Lindsey was born in the city of Seoul, South Korea and raised in Staten Island, New York. She started exploring art as a child, painting with her hands and copying cartoons from stickers she would collect. She continued her art studies in college at both the Fashion Institute of Technology and Hunter College, where she received a BA in Studio Art.
Enchanted by the Subconscious, dreaming, and memory, she weaves images both created while sleeping and awake. Her work is a reflection of these latent impressions, and often has an ethereal and surreal quality.
Her curious nature has also led Lindsey to employ a variety of techniques and mediums in her art, including printmaking, watercolors, inks and recently cyanotypes.
When she is not making art, you can find her exploring the world around her, guiding others to create, or playing with her frog Stevie Nicks.
